Welcome to my new blog!

I wanted to keep a blog of my exciting adventure. Let me tell you a little bit about my story.

In high school I did my senior project on "Abortion vs Adoption" It was then that I discovered my passion for the issue of crisis pregnancies and abortion. I volunteered at TLC Woman Center which offers free pregnancy tests and counseling for men and woman who are in crisis pregnancies in hope of being able to share the love of Christ and help them avoid the pain involved in abortion while saving babies.

In my college years I discovered my passion for freedom. Freedom to live a life for the Lord, freedom to overcome flesh, freedom to dance and live and love. And through the bible study that I lead for 3 years I discovered my passion for helping woman find that freedom we can have in Christ.

Now I have the wonderful opportunity of being able to have those 2 passions collide in my new step of faith.

I am the project director of a new program that will be working with the TLC Woman’s Center, University Presbyterian Church and Focus on the Family. Our goal is to create a Virtual Center that will create a place for woman to go to through the web and talk to a trained personnel who will listen to her, give her information and options and inform her of the options, and opportunities that are out there. And then she can decided if she wants to meet with someone face to face.

We will be using Facebook and Myspace to advertise and let people know about this Center. I get so excited when I think about this because the center is only as good as the people who walk through those doors. We can only reach those who have the courage and ability to come in and see us. This virtual center will give girls who are too scared or apprehensive the opportunity to get help, truth and love in the security of their living rooms. Our main goal here is to help save babies from abortion, help woman in their time of crisis and avoid the pain of abortion and share the Lord of Christ.
