Enough

Enough

"All of your, is more than enough for all of me
for every thirst and every need
you satisfy me, with your love
and all I have in you, is more than enough

Your my supply, my breath of life
still more awesome than I know
your my reward, worth living for
still more awesome than I know

all of you is more than enough for all of me
for every thirst and every need
you satisfy me with your love
and all I have in you, is more than enough

Your my sacrifice of greatest prize
still more awesome than I know
your my coming King
you are everything
still more awesome than I know

All of you is more than enough for all of me
for every thirst and every need
your satisfy me with your love
and all I have in you is more than enough

More than all I want
More than all I need
You are more than eough for me
More than all I know
more than all I can see
you are more than enough"

Things lyrics are so rich. Such depth, I wish I believed this everyday.
I want to live this, I want to mean this.

Needed: Prayer

A little update on the ministry.

There is some changes taking place in the ministry here and we need some prayer.

Would you join in prayer with us?

We need prayer for direction, clarity and wisdom.

Thank you

Ive been gettinga lot of encouargement from this song lately and I thought I would share it with you.

It is called Desert Song and its by Hillsong United

"This is my prayer in the desert
And all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in the hunger in me
My God is a God who provides

And this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved
Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flames

And I will bring praiseI will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

And this is my prayer in the battle
And triumph is still on it's way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

This is my prayer in the harvest
When favor and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be empited again
The seed I've recieved I will sow"

We are in the middle of a battle I am so thankful that God is a God who saves and we are co-heir with him!! God is good, never stop praising Him!!

thanks for your prayer,

♥Amanda

birthdays

Today is my spiritual birthday. It is a tradition my mom started with our family. We celebrate the day we came to know Christ. It is really fun, we have a cake, sing "Happy Spiritual Birthday to you," and my mom buys us a little something. We share what God has done in our life that year or something we have learned.

This year my spiritual birthday happens to fall on the same day as the Hillsong United concert. I am not sure if you know of this band. But they are a worship group from Austrailia. They have written a number of famous songs such as "From the Inside Out" and "Mighty to Save." Their lyrics are real and raw and beautiful. One things I love about them is they often sing about the cross. I am excited because I get to worship God with them tonight. I dont think there is a better way to celebrate becoming a child of the King! I am so excited.

"How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Alighty!
My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out for the Living God.

Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked."
Pslams 84:1-2,10

So, what has God been doing in my life? Oh wow. Hes been teaching me about faith, love, and the importance of prayer. God is bringing me back to the basics. I am learning I really cant do it, but it has to b Christ in me. I am learning how sinful I am. I am learning that Yahweh is my Shepherd. I am loving the idea of having a shepherd and being the sheep. I want to know the Lords voice and follow him. I am so thankful for being a child of the King.

Hallellia. Praise the Lord.

Springs joys

I am still trying to figure out how this blog world is, so please be patient with me.

Please leave me a comment, I would LOVE to hear from you!!

Lets see. Once a week I go to True Life Choice and volunteer as a peer to peer educator. It is a great way for me to get training and meet with woman who are in either an unexpected or crisis pregnancy.

I absolutely love going to TLC. It is such a delight. There is something about getting to share truth and love to woman that excites my heart. Last Thursday I was on my way to the center and I was praying for my time and I asked God if someone could come to know Christ that day at the center. The day started off a bit slow and two girls walked in asking for a pregnancy test. I met with the girls and we talked for a while. While we talked I shared with them about the Love that I get from the Lord, and the security. How he is the only one I know that will always be there for me, he is on my side. I asked the girls if I could share more about this and they were very open. They both ended up praying to receive Christ that day! There was a total of 3 girls that prayed to receive Christ that day! How awesome. It just reminds me of the power of prayer.

I was also featured in an article in the TLC newsletter. Check it out at TLC Goes to UCF. It is a pretty cool article. Check it out:)

We are working on getting a name for the new UCF Student group and working on getting the student leaders in place. Please pray for us in that process.

If you would like to be added to my prayer team, or would like to know more about to partner with me financially, email me at amanda.leppard10@gmail.com.

Thanks for checking in,

♥Amanda

Sowing and Reaping

Hello!

I have a little bit of updates on the project. We are working on starting a new Student Group at UCF. It will be a group that will offer hope and help to students who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy.

This foundation of this group will be built on love. It will be a faith-based service group. Our dream for this student group at UCF is that it will be the group that pregnant students will turn to for help. That they will not feel judgment, or fear, but acceptance and love. We want to transform UCF with the love of the gospel. We have a life saving message.

Today I found some verses that were really encouraging and I wanted to share them with you. As I met with some students a couple of days ago, I did some vision casting with them. I explianed that this group will take hard work to get started, it might take some time for it to become a reality of the dream we have. Then today I was encouraged as I read from Galations 6:8-9

"8The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."

That was so encouraging to me. I mean I just got started with this project in February, but as times get hard and discouraging, we must carry on! I love that! It is not our timing but the Lords.

Right now we are looking for college students to commit to the group and are assigning the leadership roles. Please pray for Gods wisdom in this.

I want to end with some great lyrics by Josh Groban

You are Loved
-Josh Groban

"Don't give up
Because you want to be heard
If silence keeps you
I...I will break it for you

Everybody wants to be understood
Well I can hear you
Everybody wants to be loved
Don't give up
Because you are loved"

Isnt that the truth we are craving to hear? We are loved! Don't give up, YOU are loved! After all "For God so loved the world...." John 3:16a

Walk for Life

To start this ministry at UCF I am working both with True Life Choice and with University Presbyterian Church. When I had the opportunity to serve both of them as the Walk Captain at UPC for Walk For Life I was very excited.

Every year True Life Choice hosts the Walk for Life as a fundraiser to raise money and awareness of their centers. This year the Walk for Life slogan was "Walking so Babies Can Crawl."

The walk was last Saturday March 28th at Lake Eola. As walkers we ask people to sponsor us as we walk around Lake Eola twice. All the money that is donated goes to True Life Choice.

It was a great time of food, fellowship, fun AND exercise. It was great!

This year UPC was awesome and 38 sponsored walkers came out! There is a silver sneaker award and we tied for 1st place for having the most walkers at the event. Total there was around 500 people at the event.

I cant wait to hear how much money was raised to help the center continue to reach out to woman and men in the Orlando area who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy.
